Adam Basciano is a public affairs director and social innovator based in Washington, DC. He serves as Strategic Director at Laurel Strategies, a CEO advisory firm specializing in strategy, messaging, and positioning for global leaders and organizations. He has worked closely with prominent CEOs, public figures, and leading companies and institutions to drive impact.

In the community, Adam consults pro bono for nonprofits and social sector leaders. He serves on the board of Story Tapestries, a leading arts services organization in the Mid-Atlantic region, and is active with Heart of a Nation and the Compass Pro Bono community in Washington, DC. He is the DC Council Co-Chair of Israel Baseball Americas, helping grow Jewish baseball worldwide ahead of the 2026 World Baseball Classic and 2028 LA Olympics.

Previously, Adam co-founded and directed IPF Atid, the leading network of emerging peacebuilders under the Israel Policy Forum. He contributed to the 2021 USC Casden Institute book, “The Impact of the Presidency of Donald Trump on American Jewry and Israel,” and researched for "Thou Shalt Innovate: How Israeli Ingenuity Repairs the World," available in 40+ languages and territories. Earlier, he interned with the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the Tel Aviv Mayor’s International Relations department. His work has been published in media and policy outlets, and in 2021 was named a “36 Under 36” by the New York Jewish Week for advancing support for the two-state solution.

Adam holds a Master’s in Global Business Administration from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a B.A. in International Relations and Economics from Colgate University. He enjoys traveling, backpacking, and playing amateur baseball in Northern Virginia.
